Macbridea caroliniana

Macbridea caroliniana, commonly known as Carolina birds-in-a-nest or Carolina bogmint, is a member of the mint family Lamiaceae. It occurs in North and South Carolina and Georgia. It is one of relatively few conspicuously flowering herbs that occupy bottomland hardwood forests.
